• Account Information: Name, phone number, and email address provided during registration.
• Property Listings: Property details, photos, address, and pricing that you submit when creating a listing.
• Usage Data: Pages visited, searches performed, listings viewed, and time spent on the platform.
• Device & Technical Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and referring URLs.
• Communication Data: Messages sent between buyers and owners through our enquiry system.

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Display and manage your property listings
• Facilitate communication between buyers and owners
• Send transactional notifications (listing approved, new enquiry, OTP)
• Improve our platform through analytics and usage patterns
• Prevent fraud, abuse, and ensure platform safety
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only in the following cases:

• Between users:When a buyer requests contact details for a listing, the owner's phone number is shared with that buyer.
• Service providers: We share data with Supabase (database/auth), Razorpay (payments), MSG91 (OTP), and Resend (email) — only as necessary to operate the platform.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law or to respond to valid government requests.

We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your login session and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features (such as staying logged in) may not work correctly.

All data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure, which uses industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. We apply Row Level Security (RLS) policies to ensure users can only access their own data.

While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no system is 100% secure. Please use a strong password and do not share your OTP with anyone.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal information is removed within 30 days. Listing data may be retained in anonymized form for analytics.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Withdraw consent for communications at any time

KhaaliGhar is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has registered, we will delete their account.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of KhaaliGhar after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
